No. 2645 - Francisco Gomes Henriques, Portuguese merchant in Amsterdam, who has a power-of-attorney from
Dr. Duarte Henriques in Bordeaux, according to an instrument passed before notary Sampson Moine in
Bordeaux, authorizes in his turn Jeremias Bloemaert, merchant in Middelburg, to claim six cases of white sugar
that were loaded for the account of Dr. Duarte Henriques in Porto in the ship De Benedictie Godes , of skipper
Thomas Barcke, to be delivered inCalais to Dr. Duarte Henriques or his agent, and with which the skipper
arrived in Zeeland contrary to his duty.
