Nr. 950 - Deed concerning a fraudulent act committed at the delivery of a case of sugar, sent by Alvaro de Azevedo, merchant in Oporto, to Pascoal de Pas.29 When the case was opened in the presence of the notary and Miguel de Pas and Jeronimo Rodrigues de Sousa, it appeared to contain only an upper layer of white muscovado sugar at 1 real of eights a pound, while the rest was brown sugar (panelado). 1616, May 4 Not.
