Observations:
Nr. 1115 - Notice served by Albert Schuyt, Henrick Thibaut, Manuel Carvalho and Duarte Esteves Pina upon Pieter van Beeck and Jehan Raije. The former party had 300 cases of sugar that arrived with the ship of Jan Coene from St. Martin13 and that were in the hands of the second party, attached. Since the notified party had let the matter rest after the Court of Amsterdam had approved the attachment, there was a loss of time and damage. Schuyt and the others now demand that the name of the owner of the sugar is made public immediately. The answer is given that the sugar was sent by Elijas Ouvre from Rochelle for the account of Nicolas Forestier and Jaspar Anthonio, merchants in Rouen. 1617, February 27 Not. Arch. 380 , fol. 108, Not. Jacob and Nicolaes Jacobs.
